No one ever knows how it happens…

Thursday, March 17th, 2011

You know, time. No one ever thinks they have any. Or always wonders where it’s gone. I just lost 3 minutes staring into space because as I was on my way to put up a new post here, you know, I just couldn’t remember what the name of my blog was. Three minutes! Gone! I can never reclaim them…

In about fifteen minutes, I will be off for a long weekend…one in which I am driving 16 hours for the pleasures of 6AM yoga and juice fasting. Did I update my ipod? Nope. Didn’t happen. It was on my list, but I just didn’t get to it. Might have something to do with an editor dropping a last minute survey on my desk this morning that needed to be done today. I will, however, be hauling along the stack of CDs from my desk and throwing them into the glove compartment. One of the benefits of driving.

Another benefit? And as far as I am concerned, the best benefit…you can bring your own pillows. All of them. They immeasurably make any sleep experience better. For real.

Driving also frees up the choices when deciding (or inĀ  my case trying to decide) which knitting to bring…or which books…or how many tshirts…

We will leave tonight and be back sometime on Monday. I might not bring a suitcase. I might pack a backback.

Scary.
